About Rhonda
Persistent anxiety. Racing thoughts that won't slow down. Difficulty focusing, finishing tasks, or keeping up with daily responsibilities. Emotional highs and lows that leave you feeling exhausted or confused. When you look high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed or scattered on the inside, it can be incredibly isolating.
I'm Rhonda Brun, MSN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I provide thoughtful, unhurried psychiatric care for adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and trauma-related concerns. My background includes outpatient, residential, crisis, and substance use treatment settings, including trauma-focused residential care. These experiences shaped my belief that meaningful healing happens when we treat the whole person—not just a list of symptoms.
Many of the women I work with struggle with ADHD. They feel chronically disorganized, mentally restless, or frustrated that they "should be able to handle this." As someone who has personally navigated ADHD, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to this work.
I structure appointments to allow space for real conversation. I take time to understand your symptoms, your history, and what has or hasn't worked in the past. Rather than rushing decisions, I focus on education, transparency, and shared decision-making so you feel informed, respected, and grounded in your choices.
My approach is collaborative and integrative. Treatment may include medication, lifestyle supports, and, when appropriate, coordination with your therapist or other providers to ensure your care feels cohesive rather than fragmented. I see medication as one part of a broader healing process—not the entire solution.
