Hi, I’m Ellis, LAMFT, and I know how exhausting it can feel to constantly carry the weight of your emotions while trying to appear okay on the outside. You may feel stuck in the same patterns, disconnected in your relationships, overwhelmed by anxiety, or frustrated that no matter how hard you try, things still feel heavy. Sometimes it can feel like you are constantly overthinking, shutting down, people-pleasing, or criticizing yourself just to get through the day.
At Thrive Counseling Services in Gilbert, Arizona, I work with adolescents, young adults, couples, and families who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, ADHD, emotional overwhelm, relationship conflict, low self-esteem, and life transitions. I also specialize in eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns. Many of the clients I work with feel trapped in cycles of shame, perfectionism, self-criticism, or pressure to always stay in control. Others feel emotionally exhausted from constantly battling thoughts about food, their body, or whether they are “good enough.”
You do not have to keep carrying all of that alone.
My approach to therapy is warm, relational, and direct. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can finally exhale and speak honestly without fear of judgment. I focus on helping clients better understand their emotions, strengthen relationships, improve communication, and develop healthier ways to cope with stress and emotional pain. I also use practical tools, humor, and real-life conversations to make therapy feel approachable and helpful outside of session.
I believe healing starts when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. Whether you are struggling in your relationships, feeling overwhelmed emotionally, or trying to rebuild your relationship with yourself, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and confident moving forward.
If you are looking for a therapist in Gilbert, Arizona for anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, relationship challenges, or emotional support, I would be honored to support you through that process.
I look forward to meeting you.
